New Delhi: The Supreme Court has initiated suo motu proceedings in response to the reported rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's R G Kar Medical College and Hospital.
As per the cause list for August 20, posted on the Supreme Court's website, a bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud is set to hear a case on Tuesday, titled 'In Re: Alleged rape and murder incident of a trainee doctor in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, and related issue'.
